John Starcher grew weary of the corporate world after a successful employment at Honeywell, Inc. He decided to follow his dreams, and moved back home to start his own service company. He founded Starcher Enterprises in his garage in 1992, and it didn’t take long for the business to grow. Today the company employs four Service Technicians, a Service Manager, and a three-person staff in its retail arm – the Village PRO Hardware Company.
In 1996, the Company purchased the building that it presently occupies – 802 W. Main Street in historic Marblehead, Ohio. This beautiful structure, built using native limestone, was the original home of the Marblehead Bank, and Ward’s Grocery Store. Starcher and his crew lovingly and painstakingly restored the building to its former glory, and have enjoyed using it as home base ever since.
